Busy Bumblebees Montessori “An environment in which to flourish
What a busy first six months we have had in our new location in NW5, we have grown Sunflowers, various bulbs, garlic and beans and tomatoes and cucumbers. Our new sand pit was a great success in the summer and our little back garden is now teaming with flowers.
Our new Montessori and Spanish rhyme time sessions will start on Wednesdays mornings from the 25th September from 10 – 11.15 these need to be booked in advanced. The sessions are to introduce children to Montessori activities and Spanish language and Messy Play for Parents and careers and their children under 5.
The cost for sessions are £5 and concessions of £2.50 for non working
Busy Bumblebees Montessori weekly sessions now include the following
Soft Play, Talacre
Garden explorers drop in session at City Farm
Montessori/Spanish Rhyme time sessions at Wellesley Hall
One o’clock club drop in sessions on Hampstead Heath
The setting is thriving really well and we will also be looking to complete our MEAB accreditation (Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board) in 2020 this looks at how the setting delivers Montessori principles through its daily practice. We are all really excited about the new changes and hope these will bring great benefits to all the children who attend the setting.
Finally l graduated last week at the Royal Festival Hall and achieved a 2.1 B.Ed. Bachelor of Education l have started my Masters in Early Years and will complete this part time over the next couple of years.
A quote from Maria Montessori
“ We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being”
