Hallowen fun activities 2015

We thought we would share some of the fun activities we covered for Hallowen and some of the photographs.

We started the week off by making a sensory tray which included black beans and flash cards with Hallowen pictures and corresponding words, i.e Witch, Pumpkin Spider, Snake. We then included some of these  into the tray and added some colour changing pumpkins for good effect that we found in the Tiger shop.  the children loved the tray and we are still picking up beans from around the house this week  🙂

We also made our own black witches costumes using old black sheets and pillow cases, and also made a display which included cut outs of witches and spiders all good hand and eye control activities,  the children also made mobile versions that they took home with them. l can honestly say they all know the word witch and spider now!!  The children also enjoyed a transferring activity using plastic spiders in two colour’s which they then had to sort.

We finished off the week with a fun party  cutting out our Pumpkin and counting the seeds inside and made some spooky treat bags to take home .  It was a fun week with lots of fun activities.image image image image image image image
